Chuck Shumer (D-NY), head of the Farm Workers' Union Dolores Huerta, feminist leader Bella Abzug and representatives from several national minority groups. The speakers defined violence broadly, as everything from domestic abuse, rape and antiabortion crimes to economic violence.
