Several of the men were unable to report because of a geology field trip, but four members of the football squad practised for the first time, these being C. A. Clark '19, A. W. Gardner '18, M. Phinney '19 and W. Platte '19. Phinney played a fast, heady game and succeeded in making a goal for team C in its game against B.
