Second Bout - The second bout was between Clement and Grew. At the beginning of the first round neither of the contestants showed a disposition to start the mill. Clement feinted in vain for an opening. Finally Grew led and the round ended with several sharp rallies. The second round was a marked contrast. The instant time was called the fighting began. Clement led and was countered by Grew's right. Clement got in a number of blows; those of Grew were mostly swinging rights and went hard. The rounds were very even.
