...careful. In case you forgot or didn't realize it, the blinking green display reminds you: "BALANCE UNDER 25 DOLLARS." As if we didn't know. As if it didn't gnaw at us with each passing day. As if we hadn't acknowledged that, in an oh-so-clever marketing move, Harvard Dining Services has trapped...
...brilliant career as a solo artist," says TIME's Christopher John Farley. "'Mercury Falling' stands out as his most consistently entertaining effort. The lyrics are smart but not self-consciously cerebral. These are songs that hit a little harder than the typical Top 40 tune: the clever 'I Hung My Head,' with its commanding horns and elevating keyboard work, tells the story of an accidental shooting, and could also be read as plea for gun control; 'I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying' is a countryish tune that clomps along like John Wayne's horse but is also...

Of the more than a dozen parable skits performed, too many were difficult to follow, easily forgotten and bother-some interruptions...
Legally, the issue is ambiguous. Although one wouldn't know it from Clinton's politically clever proclamation, school boards already have the power to require uniforms if they choose to do so. But in Long Beach, Calif., which began requiring uniforms in 1994 for all 70,000 children in kindergarten through eighth grades, the ACLU has filed a case saying uniforms discriminate against poor children who can't afford them...
