...Here's a clever solution for parents who wish their video-game-addicted kids would play outside more often. Konami's Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand ($35) is the first video game to require outdoor sunlight. Designed for the Game Boy Advance and due out Sept. 16, the Boktai cartridge has an embedded sensor that detects how much sunlight is present. Then it uses that light to charge up the virtual solar guns that kids fire at vampires and ghouls in the game. Of course, vampires tend to hang out in dungeons, so the ones in Boktai...
...Democrats staged the first of six presidential primary debates in Albuquerque, N.M., last week, and it wasn't exactly gladiatorial. No blood was spilled, no memorable lines unsheathed. The art of these dream merchants is ultimately graded against the bottom line, and the high cost of their...
...little ankles and have to be kept in hammocks and fed through a tube. He was something of an embarrassment. The Terminator is a charming man with a geezer brain trust of Warren Buffett and George Shultz, and the three of them may give Gray Davis, who was too clever for his own good, his comeuppance. But I doubt the Terminator would win if he were running in Minnesota. We've seen that movie already, and we wanted to leave after the first 20 minutes...
