It is necessary to have sparing on that day, and ladies are only invited to attend it on condition that they witness several sparring encounters, together with the other games which they come to see. Should the Tech. arrangement of putting all the sparring at the close of the meeting, any timid ladies would not have to stay away on account of blood. True, the variety of the programme would be somewhat marred by this change, and so would the opportunities for very long rests between the bouts. But with plenty of entries in the two events...
