Anyway, Steven Simpson '66, also a lawyer and co-chairman of the powerful Harvard schools and scholarships committee of Philadelphia, says many of the alumni belong to the exclusive Merion and Philadelphia Cricket Clubs and other private clubs that make owning a large Harvard clubhouse in town superfluous.
