...Lathrop will be out on the track on Holmes Field every day in the morning and afternoon to coach the men training for the class and 'varsity races. ...varsity baseball practice yesterday was much the same as on Wednesday, there being no regular game between two nines, but those who were not in the field, taking turns at batting. Frothingham and Wiggin were watching the practice, but did not coach. Cozzens, who has recently been sick, came out for the first time since his illness. Stearns, who played first base on the Cambridge High and Latin team last year was also out for the first time...

Marvin, who usually rows at 7 on the fist crew, was absent and Captain Thomson, who rows at 6, is at present in Philadelphia suffering from a bad cold. The two crews rowed about twenty minutes each and were coached by Captain Bullard. They will go on the river tomorrow, if not today. It has not yet been announced who will be the permanent coach when they get on the water...
