Most fortunately for Harvard, Harry Keyes has found time to get away to New London to coach the crew, as he had not expected to be able to do. Keyes was in the class of '87 and rowed on the winning 'varsity crew of '85, and is one of the best coaches Harvard has ever had. He trained the crew for the race of '91, and also for a short time before the race last year, but was not with them long enough then to correct their faults.
