...LONDON, CONN., June 4. - The Harvard 'varsity crew is following out the method begun early in the season, of rowing over the full four miles of the course frequently, for Coach Watson, who believes that a crew that is to row a long race of four miles should practice long pulls, sent the crew over the full course from Gales Ferry to Thames Bridge, this evening. ...recent spell of fine weather has enabled the regular eight to engage in practice on the Schuylkill, where their work is giving much satisfaction to Coach Woodruff and Captain Bull.
