Lieutenant Harold Nixon Matthews '12, C. A. C., has died at Fort Monroe, Va., of pneumonia. He was commissioned in the Coast Artillery on September 25, 1918, and was appointed instructor in gunnery. He was kept at Fort Monroe to assist in the preparation of a revised book on gunnery for the Army. Before his death he had trained two companies that took the highest standing at the Fort.
