...Pennsylvania yesterday defeated Cornell in the annual football game of the two universities by the score of 12 to 11, in one of the most exciting games that has ever been played on Franklin Field. In the first half, Cornell clearly outplayed Pennsylvania, Tydenan scoring a touchdown, and Coffin kicking the goal from touchdown and a goal from placement. Considering the short time remaining before the championship games the team is in an unusually unsettled condition. Shevlin, Wilhelmi, Raferty and Coffin are still fairly evenly matched at the ends, with the chances slightly favoring the first two named. The injury to Kinney has kept him from practice at a time, when he needed it most, owing to inexperience in the position.
