...Harvard Observatory, but only three hundred and fifty of these were Leonids, the rest consisting of the ordinary shooting stars. Comparatively few Leonids were observed until 2 o'clock, but after that the showers became thicker, and between 4.30 and 5 the majority of the number appeared. The color of the meteors was principally a light green, but in some cases they were blue and red. The trial of one unusually large one was visible for fifteen minutes.
