CORRECTION Lucy M. Caldwell's December 2, 2008 column, "Lessons From Mumbai," incorrectly stated that half of British Muslims favored being governed under Sharia law. In fact, only 30.9 percent reported being in favor of Sharia. The figure stated in the article referred to the 45.1 percent of British Muslims who believe that the September 11th attacks were a conspiracy by the United States and Israel.
