...realizes fully what it means to Rand to be put out of the game even temporarily at this critical point in the season. There is plenty of good material on the nine, however, and they have shown that they can play good baseball. With the practice games still to come and the graduate coaching now being received, there is no reason why the nine should not be in first-class form again before the Yale game.
