The editors of the News very frankly say that the card referred to was printed before the matter had been fully investigated, and wish it known that such a claim would never have been entered had the rules relating to the subject been familiar to them...

Upon further investigation of the unfortunate occurrence which marred the Yale Harvard freshman game of last Saturday, we have come to the conclusion that the blame rests about equally upon both the parties concerned.
