Plans have been made by the Deutscher Verein for the production of a German comic opera in Boston under its auspices. Mr. Dippel, administrative manager of the Metropolitan Opera Company of New York, has been found willing to give such an opera during the engagement of the Opera Company at the Boston Opera House late this month.
