There's a lot of hate in this film. There's an attitude that problems are not solved with talk but with muscle and assorted steel by-products. Granted that when you go into a Schwarzenegger movie, you should expect more violence and less categorical imperative. Unfortunately, Commando isn't even entertaining at the gut level envisioned by Director Lefter.
