Professor Roscoe Pound, of the University Law School, will commence a series of lectures on "The Spirit of the Common Law" at the Lowell Institute, Huntington Hall, Boston, this evening at 8 o'clock, the series to consist of eight lectures coming on Mondays and Thursdays. The subject tonight will be "Feudal Law." Professor Pound graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1888, studied law at Harvard in 1889 and 1890, and returned to Nebraska to take the degree of Ph.D. in 1897.
