With Moderator Ferdinand Q. Blanchard's letter went the Congregational Christian Compact for World Order, 1944. It was patterned after the Mayflower Compact of 1620, in which the Pilgrims pledged themselves to work for a new world of freedom. At a special service, which will be held in their churches on May 21, Congregationalists will sign the 1944 Compact.
