Some of the meet's toughest competiton came in the long and triple jumps, where a stellar Crimson effort managed to neutralize two of Northeastern's strongest field events. Ron Chambers, the Huskie powerhouse who two weeks ago in the Northeastern meet swept three events (taking first place in both jumps and the 60-yd. dash), was the winner in both events.
