...plant for the manufacture of liquid air, purchased out of the Boylston Hall laboratory funds, has recently been installed in Boylston Hall. It consists of a four-stage compressor, built by the Norwalk Iron Works Company, which is operated by a Crocker-Wheeler 20-horse-power motor. The compressed air is condensed by a new and original type of liquefier designed by Professor W. P. Bradley of Wesleyan University and built under his direction.
