...tremulously disagree with Dr. Scott (TIME, July 22) when he states that the Roman Catholic Church emphasizes the social concept of Christianity. That may have been what I was taught in Catholic parochial grammar school, high school and college, but what I got out of it was that the individual conscience is supreme. Society will be converted to a Christian outlook when the individuals who go to make it up are so converted...
