Truly excellent Japanese food can be found at Osaka (617 Concord Ave.), but the prices can get high if you're not careful. The sushi, or raw fish, is certainly the best in the Boston area, and probably better than any west of California. If your tastebuds are more accustomed to Western flavors, try Osaka's very fine teppanyaki or sukiyaki. Matsuya (1768a Mass Ave) is not quite as good, but also serves Korean dishes. The Tempura Hut (444 Portland St.) has adequate sukiyaki and caters much more to a Western clientele than do Osaka or Matsuya...
...Paris talks, Hanoi has urged the U.S. to join in organizing a tripartite "government of national concord," consisting of members of the Saigon administration who have "changed their policy," representatives of other political and social forces in South Viet Nam (including South Vietnamese leaders living in exile in France) and the National Liberation Front. Not very convincingly, Le Due Tho has stated that "we do not want a Communist regime in the South." In private talks with U.S. officials, Hanoi has insisted on the power to decide who qualifies for all three factions, which would make a Communist takeover inevitable...

Impasse. The diplomatic impasse still centered upon the Communist insistence that Thieu's government must be replaced by a broader, but undetailed "government of national concord," while the U.S. continues to equate Thieu with the principle of elective government in South Viet Nam. So far Hanoi has shown no interest in the one concession on the Thieu government -Thieu's offer to resign one month before the holding of an election in which the National Liberation Front could help supervise the electoral machinery and also campaign for office.
