Heretofore it has required an afternoon and two evenings to decide the tournaments of the Association, as every man has fenced with every other. Consequently, F. Lage of Columbia has been appointed to confer with the fencing committee of the New York Athletic Club in order to devise a plan to make a quicker decision possible.
