...Haven, Conn., Oct. 8, 1907.--The Yale University football squad was given a very light practice yesterday afternoon. After a few minutes of light preliminary work, the squad was divided up into several teams each of which was given a hard signal practice. Later there was a fifteen-minute scrimmage between the first and second teams in which neither side was able to score. A great many forward passes and onside kicks were tried during the scrimmage with rather poor results.
