Felton was substituted for Lewis and Keays took Minot's place. Cornell punted to Harvard's 20-yard line where Potter took the kick and ran 20 yards to his 41-yard line. Two rushes netted only 8 yards and Felton punted to O'Connor who it ran in 25 yards to mid-field.
