...Entertainment Troupes committee of the Social Service committee has sent circulars giving particulars about applications for entertainments, etc., to over 100 hospitals and charitable institutions about Boston. The entertainments, under the auspices of the Committee, will begin next week, and will consist of music, lectures, reading and ledgerdemain. As usual, no admission fee will be allowed. On the third floor the windows and finished wood-work have been put in, but are still unstained. The flooring of the two upper stories will consist of a thin layer of cement spread over the rough flooring and covered by dark pine. The purpose of the cement is to deaden sound.
