...Crimson has done and apparently will continue to, is clearly inconsistent. By saying that ads for the magazine itself are somehow less sexist than ads seeking models is to make a distinction without a difference. By publishing future advertisements for Playboy--especially for the one that will contain the photo layout of Ivy League women--The Crimson will inevitably take an active role in supporting the magazine--a role at least as active as it would have by publishing the ad refused last week...

Snyder and his co-workers discovered in 1973 that the nerves of the brain and spinal cord contain specific sites to which opiates must bind in order to produce their effect. Morphine and similar drugs fit into these so-called opiate receptors like a key into a lock. Once in the lock, the drugs are able to dampen pain signals to the brain. Snyder then went on to map the distribution of the receptors in the brain. Kosterlitz and Hughes expanded on the research. Another proposal would extend to other departments innovations implemented this year in the Government Department, which now allows juniors the option to enroll for one semester in a faculty-taught seminar instead of a junior tutorial. The seminars would probably contain more students than existing tutorials, but by offering the seminars the University would permit students to decide whether they wished to sacrifice the intimacy of a small group for a chance to study under someone who has more experience in the field...
