With Moss Hart the whimsically insane Kaufman touch has surpassed itself in producing Once In A Lifetime, a merciless, hilariously funny lampoon on Hollywood and the cerebral content of its creatures. The only possible adverse criticism of the play might come from spectators for the near savagery of some of the blows which Mr. Kaufman deals to cinema folk with his relentless jester's bladder...

Probably the only real sign of encouragement was the exhibition by ball-carrying Wood. Last year Harvard's heady quarterback never essayed to take the ball but was content with running the team and doing the major share of the passing and kicking. Saturday's games found him taking the ball on several occasions and for quite successful gains. With Wood a triple threat back Harvard's backfield will have a punch that will make it more dangerous than ever...

Evolution is, at best, a prolonged process, so for the present, the college must bide its time and wait patiently for the final drastic step of removing the little green hat, white button and all, into the outmoded customs of the past. For a time we must content ourselves with admiration for Palaeopitus for their wisdom and foresight in granting to the youngest children of Eleazer Wheelock some vestige of the individuality of the New Hampshire hills...
