Every athletic coach can testify that a little support at a critical moment goes a long way towards winning a contest. Organized cheering in the Arena is probably impossible, but a centre section reserved for Harvard men and their guests would remedy the uninspiring silence which prevailed among University supporters at the Queen's College game Saturday. To those who attended the game it must have been apparent that the feeble and desultory cheering of the Canadian backers did much to stimulate and encourage the visitors. ...clock. The game last year resulted in a victory for the Canadians, 2 to 1, in a game that was not decided until the last minute of play. This season three veterans are with the team again: Rappell, who was the star of last year's contest; Paoli, the goal-tender, and Dobson, who captained the Queen's skaters when they won the Allan Cup and world's championship. For the Crescents Conway excelled, making both their tallies...

Washington's favorite play was off left tackle and Farnum, backed up by Andrews, was unable to break up the play. A drizzling rain fell through the entire contest and as Washington had the faster squad it was figured that the Westerners would be more handicapped than Brown. But the muddy field proved a great obstacle to Pollard, the Brunonian halfback, who lost many yards through his failure to get a good start on end runs...

Bates, which was the opening game last year, is back on the list in second the lead-off contest. Tufts, also a 1914 opponent, will appear in the Stadium next fall. The two mid season dates are still open, with a chance that Virginia may fill one of them if she is unable to change her game with Vanderbilt in order to come to Cambridge on November 4. There will be no game with Penn. State next year. This was decided upon before Penn State came to the Stadium this fall, when the schedule proved to be unnecessarily heavy...
