...Last Saturday these Freshmen only tied Exeter Academy, 7 to 7, the New Hampshire team holding the position of weather-cock this year. The Yale 1921 eleven defeated Exeter 20 to 0, while Princeton scored 12 to the schoolboys 6. Thus Exeter which gave our team a thoroughly hard contest was unable to score on either of our opponents of the next two weeks...

...rowing regatta came to an end yesterday afternoon with races between the Freshman dormitory crews and the Thayer and Eliot Club crews. The dormitory eights competed for the Slocum Cup over the lower basin one mile course between the Cottage Farm and Harvard bridges. In a close, hard-fought contest, Standish won the race with a strong finish, one-half a length ahead of Gore, the leader over the first part of the course. Smith came in a good third, a length of open water behind Gore. Standish won the annual race last year, and thus will keep possession...
Once more we tramp to Soldiers Field to see our idols of many a hard-fought game. It may be their last appearance till the end of the War, who knows? But, be that as it may, it will be a wonderful contest. So putting aside thoughts of recitations and war we can journey forth to the Stadium and see to a never-to-be-forgotten afternoon...
