...University tennis team defeated Princeton in its first dual match at Princeton on Saturday by the score of 8 to 1. Princeton won the contest in doubles between Dixon and Pyne and Harlow and Pearson. This match was won only after three sets of hard tennis, in which Princeton excelled in net play, and Harlow and Pearson at the back line. The closest match was between Dixon and Pearson, the latter winning the third set by the narrow margin of 8 games to 6.
