That contest was called at the end of 12 innings because of darkness, and went into the record books as a 2-2 tie. The Crimson's play was very sloppy, and there was little suspicion that the varsity would go on to win the Eastern Inter-collegiate baseball league title for the first time in Harvard baseball history...
