Most regular observers did not even need the one game to be able to recognize the performers. After a prolonged skein of low-scoring contests, the Crimson met Wesleyan near the end of Ocotber. Entering the last period with a 1-0 lead, the varsity proceeded to score three times in the fourth quarter.
