...first few days, with six veterans in the boat, was very encouraging, after which there was a distinct falling off in form. The men were unable to catch together and lost the hard drive on the finish, which was hurried. This made them force the recovery and lose control of their bodies, and so fail to keep the boat on an even keel. The last few days, however, have seen steady improvement.
