...spite of the heavy rain which fell at intervals during the forenoon yesterday the Yale crew were given some hard work. Two hours were spent in taking the men out in pair oars and at noon the eight went out. Mr. Cook had them row down to a sheltered cove near Redtop, Harvard's old quarters, and coached them from the bank. The new shell is expected to arrive Friday...

Wilcox '98, who have had the freshmen in hand from time to time, have all expressed their satisfaction at the showing of the crew up to the present time.
