...Inner Sanctum, is a newcomer's introduction to Manhattan's latest and most curious experiment in public entertainment-a theater without a stage show, a cabaret without food or liquor, a party without an occasion. To its proprietor, a 25-year-old former talent agent named Ruflfin Cooper, Cerebrum is "an electronic studio of participation." Others have called it a "psychedelic playpen" and a "McLuhan geisha house." However defined-and perhaps it can't be-Cerebrum is an experience...
What happens then? Nothing, anything, everything. "We are trying to overturn every entertainment convention-the 'sit here,' the 'look that way,' the 'dance over here,' " explains Cooper. The result is frankly freaky. His sole purpose and accomplishment is to deliver the proper number of actors to any part of the stage which will accommodate them, in time for the musical numbers. No 18th-century or war could have been as staid...

Of the male leads only Stuart Rubinow displays the emotional range necessary to do justice to the hectic script. His Sir Despard Murgatroyd is first exuberantly wicked as the bad baronet who pays for his sins by contributing to the Church. Several abrupt turns of the plot later and on the right side...
...class. By the time he was 21 he had established himself as his country's foremost driver; so off he went to Europe to try his hand and foot at big-time racing. For the next five years, he learned his craft as a member of the Cooper factory team, working his way up to Grand Prix competition. But he always wanted to build as well as drive...
