...pedestrian paradise. I walked for blocks without one person bumping me. For the first time, I noticed a letterbox near a bus stop because there were no bus riders crowded around it. Where were the tourists asking me for directions to Covent Garden? Where were the crimson trails of double-decker buses that brighten London's streets?
