Died. Dr. Frank Crane, 67, famed U. S. religious journalist, onetime Methodist minister; of diabetes; in Nice, France. For almost 20 years Dr. Crane's daily, syndicated 600-word sermons reached 20,000,000 readers. They have been collected in 45 volumes. Dr. Crane's estimated annual income was $150,000.
