Texas Air's only major crash occurred last November, when a Continental DC-9 flipped over in a snowstorm while taking off from Denver, killing 28. Though investigators suspect that accident may have been caused by wing icing and pilot inexperience, the company's airlines have suffered numerous mechanical problems.
