One individual here suggested that the restaurateurs of Cripple Creek be invited to move to Yakima along with their pie tins; another suggested that the apple growers of Yakima be invited to move to Cripple Creek. A pie-testing task force was dispatched to various restaurants; other remedies will be taken to ensure travelers passing through this town that apple pies are worthy of the name of Yakima.
