Conditions at the Newell Boat Club are at present less satisfactory than at the Weld. This is of course due to the fact that the Sophomore and Freshman second crews, which row from the Newell, have not been disbanded, and there is therefore less material for the graded crews. Owing to lack of candidates the Newell graded crew has been unable to row since Monday, when it was first organized. More candidates for the graded crews are urged to come out at both clubs.
