During the past week, the University and Freshman crew squads have had three days of work on the water, when they rowed in short stretches from the Boylston street bridge to the Stillman Infirmary. As the launches will not be in commission until about the middle of March, Coaches Wray and Stephenson have supervised the work of the crews from their singles, and for the last two days, Coach Wray has rowed 2 in the University boat. With the exception of 4 and 2, the order of the University crew has been unchanged while on the river. Hooper rowed 4 because of Bacon's absence on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Coach Wray filled Lunt's place at 2 Wednesday and yesterday owing to the latter's injury. Of the other members of the crew Sargent at stroke is the only man who is at present rowing in the same position which he held last year. Waid, who last year was at 5, has been moved to 7, and Bacon has gone from 6 to Lunt...
