This year's "H" men to graduate are Captain Reynolds, Chanler, Gardiner, and Saltonstall, rowing bow, stroke, and No. 2 in the first and bow in the second respectively. Curtis, No. 7 in the second crew is the only other Senior on either of the first two boats. The second crew this year is exceptionally good and there should be little difficulty in filling the positions vacated in the University boat next year. Lund is fast becoming a stroke of more than average calibre, while Morgan and Talcott are keen candidates...

...afternoon the Freshman four beat the scrub four by half a length in a mile race. The second crew then went over the Henley distance at a high stroke but no time was taken. The stroke was high, 34 to 38 a minute. Finally, the first crew rowed three miles downstream in a little over 16 minutes. ...Union Boat Club crew, composed of Harvard graduates, will sail next Tuesday at 4 o'clock on the Caronia to take part in the Henley regatta, England, July 4-6. The race will be over the regular Henley distance of one mile 550 yards and will be rowed in heats. In addition to the eight-oared race, J. B. Ayer '03 and W. T. Gardiner '14 will compete in the singles event for the Diamond Sculls. If the eight is eliminated in the early rounds, P. Withington '09 will also compete in this event...

Three former Harvard captains hold down seats in the Union Boat Club crew, these men being R. Cutler '11 at stroke, J. E. Waid '10, number 5, and C. T. Abeles '12, coxswain.
