...Fast Day, April 2, at 10.30 a. m., a cross country run will be given by the Boston Athletic Association, open to all amateurs. The distance will be about 5 miles, and six prizes will be given. Dodge rushed and both received several blows. Dodge rushed again and led with left. Black cross-countered and drew first blood. Dodge opened second round by landing on Black's face.
