It was dogdom's Kentucky Derby, run over a green carpet of young Kansas wheat about two miles from Dwight Eisenhower's boyhood home. This greyhound is Mount Mahan Rebel, who cost Owner George Oswald of Los Angeles $3,500 in Ireland less than a year ago. In the cup final, he met a grey and white Texas dog named Foggy Weather.
