...Wells Cup race, a 440-yard handicap dash, held in the Stadium yesterday afternoon, was won by H. W. Kelley '11, in 50 seconds. Kelley won third in the Wells Cup race last year and in 1909 secured first place. In the race yesterday afternoon Kelley was the only man at scratch, the other 18 competitors receiving handicaps varying from 5 to 15 yards. S. Nichols '13 and B. M. ...University cross-country team has presented Mr. Herbert Jaques, father of H. Jaques, Jr., '11, the captain of the team, with a large silver loving cup in recognition of his interest in the team last fall. Mr. Jaques had his stables fitted to serve the runners as dressing quarters and installed showers and other conveniences for their use.
