That somebody should endow a fund, as Mr. Henry Seybert of Philadelphia has recently done, for investigating Spiritualism is not so very surprising. Spiritualism is by no means the least plausible of current beliefs; and, even if it were such, rich men would be as liable as any one else to credulity over it.
