You chose largely to make fun of the visible aspects of how character is taught rather than probe into the deeper and more meaningful teaching time in which character education is embedded in the curriculum and entire school climate. Children are much more engaged when they have reading or history lessons that draw out ethical and moral issues rather than just rote learning of names and dates.
